Everything GLY Empowerment does is built around three core beliefs about what every girl in Nigeria deserves.
Strong
A girl who knows her boundaries and her worth cannot be broken. We teach girls to recognize their power, protect themselves, and speak up in any room.
Healthy
A girl who understands her body is a girl who can thrive. We give girls the health education their schools and families often cannot.
Bold
A girl who believes science belongs to her will change Nigeria. We introduce girls to STEM, leadership, and limitless possibilities.
Stepping Into Bloom
We go directly into schools across Nigeria four times a year spending a day with girls covering menstrual health, personal safety, STEM exploration, and leadership. We show up in person. Every quarter. No exceptions.

My name is Roseline Adesanya. I am a Nigerian-American registered nurse, founder, and women’s advocate. I started GLY Empowerment because I believe the work begins with girls. And it never stops.
