October 2026: Ikorodu and Apapa, Lagos

In October 2026, GLY Empowerment celebrated the International Day of the Girl with Oriwu Junior Model College in Ikorodu and Mavir Leaders College in Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria.

Our team worked with 630 girls in total: 380 at Oriwu Junior Model College and 250 at Mavir Leaders College. Together we covered menstrual health, personal boundaries, and affirmations, and we gave out sanitary pads.

This program was made possible by the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteer team.

This is what your support makes possible.
