In July 2025, GLY Empowerment traveled to Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria to host our Stepping into Bloom Wellness and Empowerment Workshop for girls aged 9-18.
Over 3 hours, our team worked with 50 girls covering topics including: menstrual health, puberty education, hygiene, personal boundaries, and group leadership activities.
Every girl who attended left with a wellness kit, a workbook, new friendships, practical knowledge about her body, the confidence to ask questions she had never been able to ask before.
